Whether you are a victim or a witness

You can contact the VSSH unit, a listening and support service, at the following address: violences-sexistes@unistra.fr. They will respond within 48 hours and offer you an appointment within 5 working days.

You also have the option to contact the Association SOS Aide aux habitants – France Victimes 67 by calling 03 88 79 79 30, mentioning the code “university.” This association is accredited by the Ministry of Justice and has a partnership with Unistra. Psychologists and lawyers are available at a branch of the association located near the Esplanade campus.

What are we talking about?

  • Sexist behavior
Article L. 1142-2-1 of the Labor Code: “No one should suffer sexist behavior, defined as any behavior related to a person's sex that aims to undermine their dignity or create an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment.”

  • Sexual harassment
Article 222-33 of the Penal Code created by Law No. 2012-954 of August 6, 2012 - art. 1
“I. - Sexual harassment is the act of imposing on a person, repeatedly, remarks or behaviors with a sexual connotation that either undermine their dignity due to their degrading or humiliating nature or create an intimidating, hostile, or offensive situation against them.
II. - Any form of serious pressure aimed at obtaining a sexual act, whether sought for the benefit of the perpetrator or a third party, is considered sexual harassment, even if not repeated.”

Do not stay alone; break the silence.

Do not hesitate to contact the equality representatives at your faculty:

  • Florence Bauwens
  • Edouard Laroche
