Presentation

The Faculty of Physics and Engineering offers a range of academic programs covering a broad disciplinary spectrum, from fundamental physics to applications in mechanics, electronics, materials science, and nanosciences. Its generalist degree pathways enable progressive specialization and are integrated with work-study professional programs closely aligned with the needs of the socio-economic environment, as well as a variety of master’s programs, including a dedicated track for teaching. This offering is further enhanced by excellence programs and dual degrees with an international dimension.

As part of the University of Strasbourg, the faculty relies on several teaching sites and on close partnerships with internationally renowned research laboratories. It thus benefits from strong scientific visibility and recognized expertise, enabling it to train graduates capable of long-term integration into the science and engineering sectors.

The faculty enjoys a privileged location at the heart of the historic campus and the Neustadt district, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and is close to major transport infrastructure. Based in Strasbourg, a dynamic student city open to Europe, it offers a stimulating living environment conducive to academic success and personal development.
