The Faculty of Physics and Engineering is a part of the University of Strasbourg. Teaching is conducted across three distinct sites: the historic campus, the CNRS campus in Cronenbourg, and the Technology Hall in Illkirch-Graffenstaden.
Our Academic Programs
- 2 general Bachelor’s programs with a specialization in the third year, allowing students to continue their studies in a wide range of options.
- 5 professional Bachelor’s programs offering career-oriented pathways tailored to industry needs, all available as work-study programs.
- 5 Master’s programs (18 tracks), including a pathway for careers in education.
- 8 excellence programs, including a Magistère in Fundamental Physics, two Master of Engineering tracks, and dual degrees (in France or abroad).

- Student support: Various measures are in place to facilitate the transition from high school to university (continuous assessment, integrated courses with small groups) including the integration program for science bachelor’s students (PILS), etc.

- Strong links with renowned research laboratories: Opportunities for laboratory internships starting in the third year of the Bachelor’s program, hands-on practical work with cutting-edge instrumental platforms, potential to pursue a Ph.D., etc.
- Strong ties with businesses: Mandatory internships in many programs and work-study options offered in 9 degree programs.

- International exposure: One-third of students are international, with 5 international degrees, numerous students participating in study abroad programs (over 50 destinations) or internships abroad.
